A case of cheating of Rs 6 lakh has come to light from a senior doctor posted in the district hospital by allegedly threatening to investigate and arrest. After realizing the fraud, the doctor reached the Kotwali police station and lodged a complaint about the entire incident. In the case, the police have registered an FIR against the accused advocate and started further investigation.
According to the information, the name of the victim doctor is Dr. Bipin Aggarwal (66 years old), who was already identified with advocate Rakesh Mishra. In August, Mishra told the doctor that there was a complaint against him in the CBI, but he assured that “I will handle everything.”
As an identity, the doctor trusted. On August 21 and 22, the doctor, after coming to the lawyer, transferred a total of Rs 6 lakh online to the account of Rakesh Mishra’s son. After some time, when the doctor got suspicious, he started gathering information himself.
Soon he came to know that no complaint has been filed against him in CBI. It was from here that the doctor felt cheated. When the doctor asked Rakesh Mishra to return the money, he began to defraud. Eventually, the doctor reached Kotwali tired and gave a written complaint.
Additional SP Jitendra Chandrakar said that in the initial investigation, it was clear that the lawyer forcibly took advantage of the acquaintance and forcibly assigned the amount from the doctor. On this basis, the Kotwali police have registered a case against the accused lawyer Rakesh Mishra under Section 308 (2) of the Indian Justice Code (2) and now further investigation is going on.
