Energy Minister Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar has said that the hydropower houses of Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company performed well in the financial year 2024-25, crossing the annual production target set by the Madhya Pradesh Regulatory Commission. The Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission had set a target of generating 2694 million units of power in the financial year 2024-25 for the hydropower houses of the power generating company. Hydropower houses performed the best and produced 2757 million units of power. This feat was achieved after the year 2020-21 by the hydropower houses. It is noteworthy that the hydropower generation capacity of Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company is 915 MW

Six hydropower houses produced more than annual targets
In this achievement of Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company, 90 MW established capacity Queen Avantibai Sagar Hydroelectric House Bargi, 160 MW Pench Hydropol House Totladoh, 315 MW installed capacity Bansagar-One Tons Hydro House Sirmaur, 20 MW, Sirmaur of Sirmaur, 20 M The Marahkheda Hydropower House of MW established capacity made a major contribution. All these power houses generated more power than their annual production target. Bansagar -2 Hydropower House Silpara and Bansagar -3 Hydropower House Devalond also achieved the target of the Regulatory Commission.

Best performance of Bargi Hydropower Home
Rani Avanti Bai Sagar Hydropower House Bargi of Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company produced 509 million units of power compared to the annual target 508 million units set by the Regulatory Commission for the first time since 2013-14. This is 58 million units higher than the previous year. The 37 -year -old Bargi Hydroelectric House’s plant was available to the available factor of 92.5 percent.
