Chief Minister Mohan Yadav arrived in Datia today, where he saw mother Pitambara in Pitambara Peeth and offered prayers. Talking to the media after darshan, the Chief Minister said that the resolve of prohibition of liquor in 19 religious cities of the state has now come true. The Chief Minister said that this decision has come into effect from April 1 and he considers it to be the blessings of mother Pitambara.
He said that by respecting religious beliefs, the state government has taken this big step and in future also the BJP government will continue to take decisions in the public interest. He informed that it has also been decided to develop the religious city Datia and other places as a tourist center, so that along with faith, employment and development can also be promoted. It is the blessing of Mai that liquor ban is possible in 19 religious cities, many big decisions have been taken for the betterment of the state and this trend will continue even further.
During this, he was accompanied by former Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra. He then came to meet Pitambara Peeth Trust President and former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia. From here he left for the stadium ground. CM here, he is addressing a thanks to a gathering organized on prohibition at the stadium ground after darshan and worship of Mother. After the program, he will go to the airport by road and leave for Bhopal.
