An important cabinet meeting was held on Tuesday (April 1) under the chairmanship of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav in the ministry in the capital Bhopal. Many decisions were approved in the cabinet. In this regard, Cabinet Minister Kailash Kailash Vijayvargiya gave information about the decisions taken by the government in a press conference. He informed that the proposal to change the name of CM Rise School in the cabinet has been approved. It will now be known as ‘Sandipani School’.
A holding company will be formed, which will operate buses on the PP model and control it. 101 crore rupees have been given for the formation of the company, after which further funds will be arranged. Giving information about the decisions of the cabinet, Urban Development Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya said that through the Chief Minister Sugam Transport Service, there will be facility to go to the remote areas. Now no one will sit in the bus without a ticket. The ticket cutting agency will be different and this work will be done through software.
Advisory committee will also be held in the district
Minister Vijayvargiya informed that there will be an advisory committee in the district, which will include ministers, collector and other public representatives, who will advise the holding company from time to time. The bus operators will also be taken care of. The use of bus with rides will also be based on cargo systems for transporting goods.
There will be focus on this
- The government will make every necessary efforts to transport accessible passengers in all tribal areas of the state.
- Under the new transport scheme, a three-level monitoring will be done to operate passenger buses in the state. For this, a state -level holding company will be formed at the state headquarters level.
- 7 regional assistant companies will also be formed in seven major divisions (Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Ujjain, Sagar and Rewa) of the state.
- District level passenger transport committee will be constituted in all the districts of the state.
- All these bodies will monitor and guide the passenger passenger transport, fixing the passenger fare, preparing the route chart and to provide maximum benefits of the scheme to the passengers.
- Special arrangements will also be made in this scheme for building sources of income acquiring seven regional subsidiaries.
- Under the new scheme, the government will give priority permits to contracted buses. The government will have effective control over buses.
- The new scheme will also have a dashboard for app and company monitoring for passengers and bus operators.
Survey for the number of passenger buses
Surveys are being conducted for the need of passenger buses and necessary numbers in seven major divisions of the state for the operation of the new transport service. The results of the survey will be achieved soon. Based on the feedback of the survey, the government will move towards the implementation of this scheme. Bus operators have also been provided in this new transport service scheme, so that bus services of operators are not interrupted and passengers do not face any problem.
These decisions were also taken in the cabinet
- CM Rise School will be named ‘Sandipani School’. Such arrangements will be made in these schools, the image of Lord Shri Krishna.
- 284 crore rupees have been received to build hostels for women with the help of the central government. This amount will be used for working women working in the industrial sector.
- The IT sector conference in Indore will be held on 27 April. The Chief Minister has asked to make preparations for this and for this the big IT companies of the country have been asked to call.
- All small MSMEs have been subsidized.
- For the Jal Ganga Promotion Campaign, ministers have been instructed that they will work with public participation for water harvesting in urban bodies, panchayats in the districts of their charge.
- The purchase of wheat has started. This time 2600 per quintal wheat is being purchased. 14.76 lakh farmers have registered and eight lakh metric tonnes of wheat has been purchased. Ministers have been instructed to visit the districts of charge and see arrangements.
- Instructions have also been given for the entrance festival in the school. Books should be found by children on time. This work is to be completed in the month of April itself. A total of 85 lakh children will be distributed books.
- A assistance of Rs 224 crore has been received from the central government for the construction of hostels for working women. The amount will be used to make women hostels in the industrial sectors.
- The IT Conclave will be held on 27 April in Indore, which will include technical and industry experts.
- The water Ganga enhancement campaign will be run from March 30 to June 30, in which conservation of rivers and water sources will be noted
- Wheat will be procured at Rs 2600 per quintal.
- 14 lakh 76 thousand farmers have registered and so far 8 lakh matric tons of wheat have been purchased.
- The government will no longer buy the bus. PPP (Public Private Partnership) model buses will operate by creating a holding company.
- Buses will be operated using IT, which will benefit modern technical facilities in operation.
- Buses will be released through software, making the ticket process digital and transparent.
- These buses will run in the name of Chief Minister Sugam Transport Service, which will provide better and convenient transport service to citizens.
- Employees will be given allowance under the 7th pay scale, which will increase their allowances and improve the quality of work.
- The proposal to change the name of CM Rise School has been approved. Now these schools will be known as ‘Sandipani School’.
