Israeli Defense Minister Israel Catz on Wednesday announced a major expansion of the military operation in Gaza. Catz’s statement on Wednesday did not clarify whether additional Israeli soldiers would be involved in this extended campaign of Gaza Strip. According to officials of European Hospital at Naser Hospital and Khan Younis, at least 17 people were killed and dozens of injured in an Israeli attacks overnight in Southern Gaza.
