First the central government is running the Pradhan Mantri Matri Vandana Yojana for pregnant women and infants. More than 4 crore women have also applied under this scheme. Of these, the government has put Rs 18 crore in the account of 3.90 crore eligible women.

While the ‘Chief Minister Matru Vandana Yojana’ is preparing to be launched in Delhi, the BJP has already made it clear that financial assistance of Rs 21,000 will be provided to the eligible women under this scheme. Along with this, they will be given 6 nutritious kits, which will include essential things after delivery, such as dry fruits, baby food, clothes, napkins, etc.

The official notification regarding the Chief Minister’s Matru Vandana Yojana has not been issued in Delhi yet. But the budget has been allotted for this.
