The Waqf Amendment Bill will be introduced in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday. According to the information, the bill is expected to be introduced at 12 noon. In the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee, information was given to introduce the bill.

The opposition demanded 12 hours of discussion on the bill. While the government has given eight hours. Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will also issue a three -line whip to all its MPs. All the MPs of the party will have to be present in the House.

Opposition walked from meeting

Angered by the government’s stand, members of the opposition parties walked out of the Business Advisory Committee meeting. The opposition alleged that the government did not discuss any of his issues. Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi said that we walked out of the Business Advisory Committee as the government is imposing its agenda. He said that the government is not listening to the opposition.

He said that there is no concern whether the JPC meeting was held, rather whether the voice of the opposition has been considered or not.

He said that if there is a discussion in the Lok Sabha for two days, then what will be left for Rajya Sabha. Kiren Rijiju said that we have brought such a good bill, it will be recorded in the records who supported and who protested. He also said that tomorrow there will be discussion, answer will be done and it has to be passed from the Lok Sabha.

Kiren Rijiju said that we plead with folded hands, if there is nothing to speak on the bill, do not make excuses. Speak openly He also said that the time of discussion can be extended but the bill has to be passed on the same day. Kiren Rijiju said that many Muslims are also in support of this bill. There has been so much discussion in JPC. Confusion is being spread about this bill.

Opposition walked from meeting

The opposition walked out of the Business Advisory Committee meeting. The government had proposed a discussion for four to six hours first. Leaders of opposition parties were demanding at least 12 hours of discussion on the Waqf Bill. The government expressed his inability to continue the discussion for two days, saying that the time was left for two days. After this, opposition members walked out of the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee. Later, it was agreed to discuss the discussion for eight hours and it was also said by the government that the time of discussion can also be extended.
