Deputy Chief Minister Public Health and Medical Education Department Rajendra Shukla inaugurated the “Cath Lab” on Sunday evening at a private hospital in Harda city. Addressing on the occasion, he said that the Ayushman Bharat scheme of the government is proving to be a boon for the poor. He said that earlier, poor families were very upset due to lack of treatment of serious diseases. He said that poor families could not get their serious diseases treated in private hospitals. Ever since the government started the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, the members of the poor family have got free treatment facilities up to Rs 5 lakh in a year. He greeted Gudi Padwa and New Year to the citizens present on the occasion. Former minister Kamal Patel also addressed the program. He said that new medical colleges have started in Madhya Pradesh in the last years, which has increased health facilities in the state.
