A fire broke out in Tilakganj in Kotwali police station area of Sagar city in the early hours of Sunday. On seeing this, the fire engulfed the whole wooden wood. The fire was so fierce that along with the Municipal Corporation, the surrounding bodies, Bina Refinery and Army fire brigade laris have been called to extinguish the fire.
After the information, Tehsildar CSP and police forces including SDM are present on the spot. More than two dozen municipal employees, army personnel are busy extinguishing the fire. According to the information, a fire broke out at the wooden rhythm of Harvinder Singh located at Jhula intersection in Tilakganj around 5 am.
On the information of the fire, the fire lari of the municipal corporation parked on Katra reached the spot, which started the work of extinguishing the fire. But the fire was so fierce that on seeing it, it spread throughout the tall. After the fire spread in the wood kept in about 5000 sq ft, it became very difficult to control it.
Seeing the fire being uncontrolled, army fire engines were called on the spot. By 9 am, more than two dozen fire engines were engaged in extinguishing the fire. Nearby godowns and houses have been vacated.
A large number of people gathered on the spot, which the Kotwali police personnel kept removing. The fire was controlled at around eight in the morning, but the fire in the wood continued to fire. JCB’s help was taken to remove it. Woods are being removed from the machine and continuous water is being poured from the fire.
