Big news has come out a day before Eid ul-Fitr from Beed in Maharashtra. There have been reports of a blast in a mosque early Sunday morning. The explosion was reportedly caused by a gelatin rod placed by a man. Police have said that no person has been injured in this accident. The incident is from Ard Masla village of Jiorai tehsil where the mosque exploded at around 2.30 am in the morning. The interior of the mosque has been damaged after the explosion.

Police said that two people have been arrested in this regard and the investigation of the case is going on. There is an atmosphere of tension in the village since the incident. An official said that a heavy security force has been deployed in the village to maintain law and order and to avoid spreading any wrong information. According to officials, a person entered the back of the mosque and allegedly put some gelatin rod there, causing the explosion.

According to the information, the head of the village informed the Talwara police at around 4 am. After receiving the information, Beed Superintendent of Police Navneet Kanwat and other senior officials reached the spot. The official said that the forensic science team along with the bomb detection and disposal squad (BDDS) also reached the spot. The official said that two people have been arrested by Beed police. The officials have appealed to the people not to spread rumors and help the police in maintaining law and order.
