For the first time in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, the supply of cooking gas is going to start through pipeline to homes. Under this facility, a meter will be installed in every house, so that consumers will have to pay the same price as they will use. This gas will be cheaper than LPG, which will also benefit people financially. This preparation has been completed in 1 lakh houses and PM Modi in his speech has told about the goal of taking it to 2 lakh houses.
The gas pipeline project will be launched in 2025 and 1 lakh houses will get the benefit in the first phase. The pipeline will be directly connected to the stoves in the houses, which will ensure the supply of cooking gas. Officials of GAIL India Limited and Haryana Gas Agency had also held a meeting a few months ago to put this scheme on the ground.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Mohabhatta Ground in Bilaspur from Raipur in Chhattisgarh today. He inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of several projects worth Rs 33,700 crore. These projects include important schemes like electricity, oil, gas, rail, road, education and housing. Posting on social media, Prime Minister Modi said that the progress of Chhattisgarh will get a big boost. Several prominent leaders are also present in the meeting including Union Minister Mohanlal Khattar, Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, Deputy CM Arun Saw and Finance Minister OP Chaudhary.
3 lakh families got a sure house- PM Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on the home entry of 3 lakh poor families in Chhattisgarh that this is a new chapter of their lives. Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said in a public meeting held in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh that this is the largest public meeting in the history of the state. Khattar called the people Jai Johar and supported the call to make the country a developed nation under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that by 2047, India would have been recognized as a strong nation.
