Chardham Yatra in Uttarakhand starts from April 30 this year. Every year millions of devotees visit this journey. This time some new rules have been made in Chardham Yatra. There are special rules for video and reel makers on social media. Videos and reel are banned inside the temple. On doing this, it will be sent back without seeing it. Apart from this, VIP philosophy has also been stopped.
This time 9 lakh people have registered for the Chardham Yatra. Several arrangements have been made to make the journey safe. Kedarnath-Badrinath Panda Samaj has decided that this time the reel makers will not be allowed to enter the temple. Last year, due to the passengers making video, the system deteriorated at many places. In Kedarnath Dham, drums and drums were ringing only to make videos. This was disturbing nature and peace of devotees. Therefore, this time the administration has completely banned the commissioning of the camera.
‘Getting darshan with money against God’s dignity’
VIP darshan has also been stopped in Chardham Yatra this year. Ashok Todaria, treasurer of Panda Panchayat of Badrinath Dham, said that it is against the dignity of God to get darshan by taking money. Therefore, this time all the devotees will be able to do normal darshan. This will give everyone a similar opportunity to see.
10 holding sites made for passengers due to bad weather
The Chardham Yatra will begin on April 30, 2025 (Akshaya Tritiya). First the doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham will open. After this, the doors of Kedarnath Dham will open on 2 May. Finally, on May 4, the doors of Badrinath Dham will be opened to the devotees. The journey route is divided into 10–10 km. 6 policemen have been deployed in each part. If the weather is bad, holdings have been built at 10 places to provide relief to the passengers. Eating and drinking and other important things will be found here.
