Former Australia all -rounder Shane Watson has given a big advice to Royal Challengers Bangalore i.e. RCB before his second match. They want RCB to change in the match against Chennai Super Kings at the Chepock Stadium in Chennai on Friday. The legendary player who played IPL for a long time has said that RCB will have to change the team combination as per the need of Chennai pitch.
RCB registered a stunning win over Kolkata Knight Riders, but Watson believes that they will face a big challenge against Chennai. Watson said on ‘Geographstar’, “Playing in Chepock will be a big challenge for RCB, especially looking at the best bowlers with Super Kings. RCB will need to change its team combination to combat the power of Super Kings, but make no mistake – Chepock (CSK’s) is a fort. ”
Watson, who played for both Super Kings and RCB in his IPL career, described the presence of the best spinners near Chennai as the main reason for their dominance at the home ground. Watson said, “The entire structure of Super Kings has been made around performing well in Chennai. See only the three spinners who bowl brilliantly in their opening match against Mumbai Indians, Ashwin, Jadeja and Noor Ahmed. They will prove to be very useful on that surface. ”
He further said, “Noor Ahmed’s confidence for Super Kings in the first match will increase the team’s confidence, because he knows that he has another option to take wickets.” Shane Watson, who was part of the Rajasthan Royals’ 2008 title campaign, said that his former team is lacking in the match against Kolkata Knight Riders.
