Taking forward the Hindutva campaign across the country, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (BHP) has announced to celebrate its nationwide ceremony ‘Shri Ram Festival’ including Ram Navami and Hanuman Jayanti, which will last for fifteen days.
Local workers of the Hindu group will organize processions and religious, social and cultural programs during the Shri Ram Mahotsav at hundreds of places across the country during the entire 15 days starting from 30 March 2025.
Meanwhile, Ram Navami has once again become a political battlefield for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) in West Bengal, as both parties are preparing to celebrate amidst the 2026 elections in the state.
What is the plan?
Vishwa Hindu Parishad national spokesperson Vinod Bansal said in a social media post, “The organization has made nationwide preparations for Shri Ram Festival. Apart from Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal Shri Ram Navami and Sri Hanuman Janmotsav, during the entire 15 days of Shri Ram Mahotsav, there will be a procession and religious, social and cultural programs at hundreds of places across the country during the entire 15 days of Shri Ram Festival. Local workers will organize social and cultural programs. Will organize these programs. “
He further said that Pratipada of Vikram Samvat 2082 will start from 30 March 2025 on the first day of Chaitra month of Shri Ram Festival. The grand divine procession of Shri Hanuman Janmotsav to be held under the Shri Ram Festival in Jahangirpuri area of North Delhi will begin on 12:00 pm on 12 April 2025.
Vinod Bansal said that all Shri Ram devotees, Shri Hanuman devotees and Bharat devotees are requested to participate enthusiastically in all these programs and give their auspicious sacrifice in this sacred work of religious spiritual and national awakening.
