Raipur
The Chhattisgarh Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) has taken major action against the three Bangladeshi intruders arrested from Raipur and canceled their passports. Apart from this, a letter has been sent to the concerned departments to cancel fake Aadhaar card and voter ID. The three Bangladeshi Mohammad Ismail (27 years), Sheikh Akbar (23 years) and Sheikh Sajan (22 years) are brothers in a relationship and reached Mumbai Airport from Raipur on 8 February, from where they were trying to flee to Iraq with the help of fake documents. But in time, ATS arrested him.
Fake documents net, Bangladeshi mastermind absconding
ATS investigation revealed that these three Bangladeshi citizens were successful in making Aadhaar card, voter ID and passport in Raipur with the help of a person named Mohammad Arif. The entire network worked like an organized gang, which was running a person named Sheikh Ali.
Sheikh Ali had long been working to send fake documents to Bangladeshi infiltrators and send them to Gulf countries. He is now absconding and the police are feared to flee to Bangladesh. In search of Sheikh Ali, a team of Chhattisgarh Police went to the Bangladesh border, but at the moment he did not touch.
The game of making fake documents continued from 2017
ATS investigation has revealed that since 2017, this gang was working to send Bangladeshi citizens to Gulf countries through fake documents. Mohammad Arif, the choice center operator of Raipur, was also part of this gang, who used to prepare fake Aadhaar card and voter ID in lieu of money. ATS suspects that many more Bangladeshi are living illegally in India through this gang and are trying to leave the country through fake documents. There may be more revelations in this case soon.
