Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written a letter to NASA’s astronaut Sunita Williams to come to India. Sunita Williams is scheduled to return to Earth on Wednesday after spending nine months at the International Space Center. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written a soulful letter to Sunita Williams and wished him a safe comeback. This letter was written by PM Modi on March 1, which has been sent to Sunita Williams through NASA’s former NASA astronaut Mike Micimino. This letter was shared by Union Minister Jitendra Singh on the social media platform ‘X’.

NASA’s Indian -origin astronaut Sunita Williams and Buch Wilmer are finally returning to the earth after being ‘trapped’ at the International Space Station (ISS) for about nine months. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written a soulful letter to Sunita Williams and wished him a safe comeback.

This letter written by the Prime Minister on March 1 has been shared by Minister of State Jitendra Singh on his social media account in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). In this, PM Modi wrote, ‘The whole world is eagerly waiting for Sunita Williams’s safe return. In this important moment, PM Modi has expressed his concern and best wishes for this glorious daughter of India.

Prime Minister Modi wrote in his letter, ‘Even though you are thousands of miles away, but you are very close to our hearts. People of India are praying for your good health and success of your mission. After your return, we are keen to meet you in India. It would be a pleasure for India to host one of their most talented daughters.
PM Modi remembers meeting Williams in 2016
PM Modi recalled the meeting with Sunita Williams and his late father Deepak Pandya during his visit to America in 2016. He said that he met Massimino at an event in New Delhi and Williams was mentioned during the conversation. The Prime Minister said, ‘Your name came during our conversation and we discussed how proud of you and your work. After this conversation, I could not stop myself from writing a letter to you. ‘
‘Always proud of Williams’ achievements’
PM Modi said that he had asked Sunita Williams’ well -being during his visit to President Donald Trump and his predecessor during his visit to Biden. The Prime Minister said that 1.4 billion Indians have always been proud of Williams’ achievements. He said that recent developments have once again shown your inspirational patience and perseverance.
Union Minister Jitendra Singh shared PM’s letter
Jitendra Singh said that a few days ago PM Modi met former NASA astronaut Mike Messimino. Through him, this letter was requested to reach Sunita Williams. He said that Sunita Williams was very impressed with this emotional message and thanked PM Modi and India.
PM Modi said that Williams’ mother Boney Pandya would be eagerly waiting for her return and she is sure that ‘Deepakbhai’ (father of Williams) is also with him. In the letter, the Prime Minister has also sent his heartfelt greetings to Williams’ husband Michael Williams.
