Chhattisgarh CM Vishnudev Sai met Home Minister Amit Shah. During this time, there was a discussion about Naxalism in the state. After the meeting, Chief Minister Sai said that Naxalism in Bastar has now reached its final stage. Due to the strict policies of the government and the effective strategy of the security forces, peace is returning to the Naxal -affected areas. In this connection, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi at his residence. In this meeting, there was a detailed discussion on completely eliminating Naxalism, intensifying the development of Bastar and promoting tourism and economic activities.
Chief Minister Shri Sai informed the Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah that Naxalism is now at its last stop and the government is taking decisive steps to completely eliminate it. The joint efforts of the state and the Center have weakened the grip of Naxalite organizations. Now the emphasis is on taking Bastar towards permanent peace by preparing the final stage strategy. He said that the impact of the new surrender and rehabilitation policy-2025 of the government has started showing. Recently, a total of 19 Naxalites, including 9 prize Naxalites in Bijapur district, decided to surrender and return to the mainstream. Naxalites who surrender are being given the benefit of financial assistance and rehabilitation schemes by the government, so that they can lead a respectable life in the society. In the meeting, special attention was given to speed up development works in Bastar.

Skill development, self -employment and new employment opportunities are being prepared to connect the youth of Bastar to the mainstream. The government aims to become a new center of peace, development and possibilities, not just the land of struggle.
