Gaza
Sareel carried out a series of air strikes on Tuesday morning, targeting Hamas’s hideouts in the Gaza Patti area. Palestinian officials have informed about the death of at least 200 people in the attack. It is being said that since the ceasefire was effective in January, it is the worst attack in Gaza so far. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that he ordered an attack due to no significant progress in the talks to increase the ceasefire. Netanyahu’s office said, “Israel will now take action against Hamas by increasing military strength.”
Fear of continuing struggle again
The overnight attacks have ended the peace of peace and extended the possibility of the resumption of the struggle on 17 months, in which more than 48,000 Palestinians were killed and Gaza was destroyed. The future of about 24 Israeli citizens held by Hamas has led to a skepticism due to the attacks of Israel, which is believed to be still alive. Hamas in a statement condemned the attacks carried out by Israel and said that these attacks have endangered the future of the hostages.
‘Against innocent people…’
Tahir Nunu, an officer of Hamas, has criticized the Israeli attacks. He said, “The international community is undergoing a moral test, either it allows the return of crimes committed by the occupied army or implement the commitment of aggressiveness and war against innocent people in Gaza.” The voices of explosions could be heard at all the places in Gaza and the ambulance was reaching Middle Gaza’s al-Aksa Hospital. ”
What happened about the ceasefire?
There have been fresh attacks two months after the agreed on the ceasefire to stop the war. In six weeks, Hamas released about three dozen hostages in exchange for about 2,000 Palestinian prisoners. But since the end of the first phase of the ceasefire two weeks ago, the two sides have not been able to agree with the second phase to release around 60 remaining hostages and to completely eliminate the war.
Netanyahu has repeatedly threatened to resume the war and prevented all food and aid delivery in the area surrounded to pressurize Hamas earlier this month.
Hamas said this
At the same time, an Israeli officer said on the condition of anonymity that Israel is attacking Hamas’s militants, its leaders and infrastructure and plans to further increase the campaign beyond airstrikes. Meanwhile, Hamas has warned that the new aerial strikes of Israel on Tuesday morning have broken the ceasefire between them. He also said in a threatening manner that this Israeli act has put the fate of the hostage in danger. At the same time, Israel said that it has carried out air strikes in Gaza Strip due to no progress in the ongoing conversation to increase the ceasefire.
