Prithvi Shaw was once considered the emerging star of Indian cricket. He had also made a distinct identity at the international level along with domestic cricket. Many people were seeing him as a big player in Indian cricket after Virat Kohli. However, the career of India’s Under-19 World Cup captain went to the slope very quickly. He remained unsold in the IPL 2025 mega auction and then could not make it to Mumbai’s Ranji Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy. In this difficult time, Prithvi Shaw has been advised by his close friend and Punjab Kings star cricketer Shashank Singh to bring him back on track.
On the podcast with Shubhankar Mishra, Shashank Singh said that Prithvi Shaw has been underestimated and if he goes back on his basics, he can achieve anything. Shashank Singh said, “Prithvi Shaw has been underestimated. If he works on his old things, he knows him since he was 13 years old.
He further said, “Perhaps he can make some changes in his daily routine, or maybe it will be the best thing for Indian cricket.
