The only Sita Mata temple in the country has a Rangpanchami fair from 18 March to 20 March. Millions of devotees reach this fair every year. This temple is located in Karila in Ashoknagar district of MP and is famous as ‘Maa Janaki Mandir’ across the country. Sita Mata is seated here without Lord Rama. A day before the fair, about one lakh devotees reached Karila Dham and for this, the arrival of devotees started from morning itself. Where 20 to 25 lakh devotees are expected to arrive. During this time, 250 CCTV cameras will be monitored, while about 1500 police personnel will be deployed in security. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav (CM Mohan Yadav) will also come to visit mother Janaki on Rangpanchami.

The Collector gave information about parking and medical facilities regarding the facilities of the devotees. He inquired about drinking water, toilets, electricity, parking and medical facilities. In view of the Chief Minister’s visit, he inspected the system of helipad. Along with this, necessary guidelines were also given regarding security arrangements and arrangements for mother Janaki Mata.

1500 police personnel deployed
The Rang Panchami will be held in Maa Janaki Temple Karila from March 18 to March 20. From four o’clock in the morning on Monday, devotees and shopkeepers started arriving with goods, while a large number of women and men were seen going for Karila on foot. According to police RI Shivamangal Singh, 1500 police personnel will be deployed, including more than 800 police personnel from outside, including Gwalior, Shivpuri and Guna police force and four SAF companies. On March 19, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will come to Karila, this will put additional police force and Helipad has also been made for this.

For the first time, all the district panchayats of the district are installing big tents in the fair area, so that devotees can sit here in the fair.

Recovery of more than Rs 21 lakh from shops
According to the Janpad Panchayat, the fair has been identified for 915 shops and the allocation amount of each shop is two and a half thousand rupees. By Monday evening, 726 shops were allotted and this was deposited by the shopkeepers of Rs 18.15 lakh, although 189 shops are yet to be allocated. At the same time, small shops were also set up on the side of the pavement and road, from which an amount of about three lakh rupees has been recovered. Due to this, the Janpad Panchayat has so far recovered an amount of about 21 lakh rupees in lieu of setting up shops in the fair. At the same time, the number of recovery of amount will increase due to the reason for 189 remaining shops and other small shops.
