Dr. Rabbi Alam, a close aide of former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Vice President of America Awami League made a big claim. He said that Sheikh Hasina will soon return as the Prime Minister of Bangladesh. Along with this, he thanked the Government of India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for providing a safe hideout and travel route to Sheikh Hasina.
Dr. Rabbi Alam said this in an interview given to media. He said, “Sheikh Hasina will return as the Prime Minister of Bangladesh. The younger generation has made a mistake, but it is not their fault, they have been misled. ” Expressing concern over the current situation of Bangladesh, he described it as “subject to the attack” and demanded intervention from the international community. He said, “Bangladesh is being attacked and the international community needs to focus on it. Political rebellion is fine, but this is not happening in Bangladesh. This is a terrorist rebellion. “
At the same time, he asked the Chief Advisor of the Interim Government Mohammad Yunus to leave the post and “go back where he came from”. He said, “We want to tell the advisor of Bangladesh to leave the post and go back where you have come. Dr. Younus, you are not from Bangladesh. It is a message to the people of Bangladesh that Sheikh Hasina is coming back, she is returning as Prime Minister. ”
Alam expressed gratitude to India and said, “Many of our leaders have taken shelter in India, and we are very grateful to the Government of India. I also thank PM Narendra Modi for providing a safe travel route for our Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. We are also grateful to the people of India. “
Sheikh Hasina was evicted from power after violent demonstrations led by students in August last year, after which she is living a deported life in India. Supporters of his party Awami League are calling it a “terrorist rebellion”. On the other hand, the interim government of Bangladesh has demanded extradition of Hasina and has made several allegations against humanity, including crimes. However, India has not yet given any official answer to this demand.
