Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Simhastha – 2028 is a very important religious event of Madhya Pradesh. Millions of people will visit Ujjain during Simhastha. Extensive arrangements should be made for any devotee to have any difficulty in bathing and darshan. Learn from the old Simhastha event and start carrying out the arrangements by doing micro planning from now on for the well -organized event of the upcoming Simhastha.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the meeting of Simhastha – 2028, keeping the experiences received at the center of Simhastha at the Simhastha, who was earlier held at Samvat Bhawan at Chief Minister’s residence on Wednesday. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that it would be best that all the works related to Simhastha and management should be completed before June 2027. It will also be able to get time to repair more or less the arrangements or to improve the arrangements even more.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that all the works approved for the arrangements and management of Simhastha – 2028 should be completed by June 2027. The monthly progress report of ongoing works should be reviewed. There should be no shortage in management. All the works approved should start and be completed within the stipulated time. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that after becoming Mahakal Lok, a large number of devotees are reaching Ujjain every day. Preparations should be made for Simhastha according to the increasing number of devotees, because the devotees who come to Simhastha will definitely go to Baba Mahakal and other Dev sites. Special attention should be paid to crowd management. The effort should be that the devotees should be released from the e-bus or e-auto near the Mahakal temple, so that they do not have to walk too much for Mahakal darshan and also make it easier to management.

Widening of internal streets before Simhastha

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that lakhs of crores of devotees will come to Ujjain city in Simhastha. Apart from large routes, the inner streets and roads of Ujjain city should also be widened so that the devotees also have an alternative route of traffic and they can easily come. He said that all the bridge construction works are necessary for Simhastha in Ujjain city and Simhastha inside the city, they should be started now. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that during Simhastha, proper arrangements should be made for the deity of devotees in all the small and big temples of Ujjain city. He said that if possible, consider making ghats in Rudra Sagar and also conduct preliminary survey.

Pay special attention to disaster/fire management

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that due to small systemic deficiencies, unpleasant situations should not be created by natural disaster and fire accidents during the event. Simhastha is in the year 2028, so Volunteers should also be given training to prevent such incidents by paying special attention to any type of disaster and fire accident management.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that better planning should be implemented for Simhastha-2028. Keep in mind that the work should not be delayed. The Chief Minister said that 7 major routes reaching Ujjain city have been approved as Fourlane and a major route Six Lane Road. Work should be started fast on this, so that all the routes are ready in time.

In the meeting, Urban Development and Housing Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya also stressed the need for more better and comprehensive arrangements for Simhastha-2028 on the personal experiences of Simhastha of 2016. He said that all work should be started now, because during the royal bath, there is a possibility of a large number of devotees to remain at the same place at the same time. That is why state -of -the -art management should be done for mob management.

Additional Chief Secretary Urban Development and Housing Shukla informed that a total of 74 infrastructure development works have been approved by the Mantri-Mandal Committee for Simhastha-2028 at a cost of Rs 7379.75 crore by 7 major departments. Of these, 54 development works have been given administrative approval, 15 construction work is in tender process and 5 works have started. Simhastha – The stop area of ​​2028 will be developed through the Town Planning Scheme (TPS). Simhastha Mela Area Municipal Development Scheme 8,9,10,11 T.P.S. In the meeting, the arrangements made by the police administration for Simhastha – 2028 were also discussed in detail. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav instructed the Director General to make strong police and security arrangements for Simhastha – 2028 on the basis of Simhastha 2016 experience. He said that state -of -the -art equipment including all human and physical resources expected will also be provided to the police. He duly trained the police personnel to be employed in Simhastha – 2028 and instructed them to prepare their work in a better way.
