Farmers also get good benefits. Farmers of village Loker of Pathalgaon development block are doing well farming of Banjara ball and are also encouraging other farmers to cultivate marigold. Farmer Mr. Moti Banjara said that he started cultivating marigold from 2014. He started making good profit due to good sale of marigold in the festival of flower cultivation in 20 dismal land of his farm.
He said that under the guidance of Krishi Vigyan Kendra Doomarbahar Jashpur, he started farming in drip mulching and extended the area to one acre after which agricultural scientists advised to cultivate in Net House. The farmer said that by contacting the Ughan department of Pathalgaon, he submitted his application and now through the net house on 0.2000 hectares and drip in 1 acre, there is a good profit from the cultivation of marigold and gelodius throughout the year. Farmer Moti said that within 15 days in the last Diwali itself, the sale of marigold flowers earned more than 3 lakhs. If there is a good market in a season, one acre to 3 to 3 lakh 50 thousand is earned. He said that in the last Kharib season, good profit was taken from the marigold crop on 2.5 acres. Market market is also supplied flowers like Surguja, Bilaspur, Raipur, Orissa, Jharkhand across and around Jashpur district. And along with other districts, demands from other states continue to continue. Many farmers of the district are earning good income by planting marigold flowers. The farmer said that he has got the benefit of various schemes of Chhattisgarh government. He told that other farmers have also started cultivating marigold by seeing them. And are getting good income. Under the scheme of Chhattisgarh government, the benefit of solar sujala scheme has also been received from the CREDA department. He also got the benefit of other schemes like warehouse construction from the Agriculture Department, Pack House, Net House from Ughan Department, he said that bouquet bouquets bouquets in addition to flowers and earn an additional 2 lakhs in a year. Farmer Moti thanked the Chief Minister and said that his family is very happy. His family standard of living has changed a pleasant change.
