International Women’s Day was organized on 07 March 2025 to commemorate International Women’s Day. On this occasion, Chief Guest Dr. Seema, besides G, Additional Police Commissioner, Indore; Dr. Anuradha Suresh Rawat, Officer -in -Charge, Administration Academy, Bhopal and Ms. Deepali Khandelwal, Assistant Commissioner, Cooperation Department, Madhya Pradesh Government’s dignified presence encouraged staff members, especially women staff members.
Mrs. C. Saraswati, Chief General Manager, NABARD, Madhya Pradesh Regional Office welcomed and greeted all the guests and apprised them of the efforts being made by NABARD for women empowerment. He said that NABARD has played an important role in making women financially empowered through self -help groups, whose rewards they are getting as social reputation.
All the distinguished guests encouraged the women staff members present in the program. Directors of farmer productive organizations, self -help groups which are being run by women were also present in the program. The guests appreciated his work and also thanked him for moving forward with positivity in the society.
On this occasion, the exhibition cum sale of products of women self -help groups, women craftsmen and women farming producing organizations was also inaugurated by Chief General Manager, NABARD and respected guests. Exhibition-cum-selling by NABARD is being organized by NABARD from 07 to 09 March 2025 from 11.00 am to 08.00 am to NABARD Madhya Pradesh Regional Office, E-5, Arera Colony, Bittan Market Bhopal from 11.00 am to 09.00 am to provide a strong platform for these women craftsmen products and provide them a strong platform for marketing.
In the said exhibition-cum-selling, women artisans of different districts of the state have come to sell their products. In this fair, Maheshwar saris of Khargone, Mandla’s Gond Painting, Products made from Betul, honey from Chhindwara Patalkot, stone craft of Jabalpur besides maize, jowar, millet cookies, amla products, coriander, turmeric etc. will be sold. The people of Bhopal are requested to visit the exhibition and encourage women farmers/ artisans.
