A strange incident happened in first class cricket with Pakistan cricket team batsman Saud Shakeel. Saud Shakeel slept during the match in the dressing room. He arrived late at the crease to bat and in such a situation the umpire called him out. If the batsman does not reach the crease within the stipulated time, he can be given a time out. This happened to Saud Shakeel. Due to this, 4 wickets fell in 3 balls. The bowler also got a hat -trick. For the first time in Pakistan’s cricket, a player has been given a time out.
In fact, Saud Shakeel participated in the final of the Domestic President Trophy in Rawalpindi, a few days after the Pakistan team was out of the Champions Trophy. During this time, he was also recorded in the record book to get out of his unusual way. Shakeel, who came out to bat at number five from the State Bank of Pakistan, was declared a time out, as he did not arrive to bat on time.
Pakistan television team fast bowler Muhammad Shehzad had dismissed State Bank of Pakistan captain Omar Amin and Fawad Alam on consecutive balls. After this Shakeel came to the crease, but he took more than three minutes. After this, the captain of the opposition team appealed for TimD Out and the field umpire accepted the appeal and Saud Shakeel was considered a Timard Out, which is a rare incident in the first class history, as he is the first Pakistani batsman to be dismissed in this way.
Since Shakeel’s dismissal, the mention of Angelo Mathews against Bangladesh in the 2023 ODI World Cup was also revealed. According to the reports, he fell asleep in the dressing room. In such a situation, he reached the crease late. At the same time, the bowler of the opposition team dismissed the first two batsmen. Prior to the third ball, Shakeel Timd was out and he got a wicket again on the next ball. In this way, he got four wickets off 3 balls.
