Pithampur
The process of testing the second round of burning of poisonous waste of the Union Carbide (Union Carbide) factory of Bhopal (BHOPAL) at a settlement plant in Pithampur industrial area of Indore started late on Wednesday night. In this phase, another consignment of 10 tons of waste will be destroyed. The officials associated with this process gave this information.
The second trial run to destroy 10 tons of toxic waste of Union Carbide will start from 10.30 am to 11 am on Thursday. In the second trial run, 180 kg of waste will be burnt at the rate of an hour. During this time, the temperature of the incinerator will be more than 900 degrees Celsius. Officers of the Central and State Government will be present on this occasion. The second round of trial run will end on 8 March. Garbage will be burnt for 55 to 56 hours after the trial. It is worth noting that on the instructions of the High Court, this poisonous garbage is being destroyed in the plant in Pithampura in Indore.
337 tonnes of waste disposal plans
According to the order of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, the disposal of this waste is to be tested in three rounds following the security criteria and the report of the three tests is to be presented before the court on 27 March.
Garbage will be destroyed like this
Regional Officer of State Pollution Control Board Srinivas Dwivedi said that the second round of consumed the second round of consumed as a test of the union carbide factory at the waste settlement plant in Pithampur has started. He said that the first round test lasted about 75 hours and during this time 135 kg of waste was dumped every hour in the consumer of the plant.

According to the state government, the garbage of the Union Carbide factory includes soil, reactor residue, sevin (pesticides) residue, nephthal residue and ‘semi -processed’ remains of the premises of this closed unit. The State Pollution Control Board says that according to scientific evidence, the impact of Sevin and Nephthal chemicals in this waste is now over. According to the board, at present, there is no existence of methyl isocyanate (MIC) gas in this waste and there are no radioactive particles of any kind.
