States should be increased in central taxes, this will strengthen the economy of states: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the empowerment of the nation is in the empowerment of the states, so the share of states should be increased in central taxes and revenue receipts. States work to fulfill their goals only with their capacity and limited resources. With more financial grants from the Central Government, the states will be able to achieve their long -term goals in the short term. Developed India cannot be built without developed Madhya Pradesh, so states should be increased from 44 percent to 48 percent in central taxes. This will strengthen the states and help the nation to carry development.

Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is a big state, so its needs are also big. The establishment of a public welfare state is the goal of the Central and State Governments. This target can be achieved with better coordination and mutual harmony of the Center and the states. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing an important meeting with the Chairman and members of the 16th Central Finance Commission at the Kushabhau Thackeray International Convention Center on Thursday. He also apprised the Finance Commission about the requirements of the Commission for the Commission’s requirement to achieve the long -term targets of the state.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is the most progressive state in the country. The state is moving rapidly in the fields of agriculture, infrastructure, education, health, forest, tourism, urban development and industrial development. More development/grant is required from the Central Government for more development in these areas. He said that Madhya Pradesh also has to contribute to developed India. We will fulfill the resolve of developed Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that now our budget is about three and a half lakh crore rupees. In the next five years, we will increase this budget to double.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav told the Finance Commission that we are working closely with the neighboring states for water sharing by connecting rivers. In the Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal (PKC) River Combination Project, we are being done in collaboration with Rajasthan. The Central Government allocated Rs 90 thousand crore for this national river joint project. Similarly, work is being done in collaboration with the Government of Uttar Pradesh for the Ken-Betwa Link National Project. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has given pride to Madhya Pradesh by worshiping both national projects. Now working on the Tapti river project with the Maharashtra government. He said that till 20 years ago, only 7 lakh hectares of agricultural land in the state was signed, today we have irrigated more than 48 lakh hectares of agricultural land in the state. There are a campaign for river joints in the state. We have a intimate relationship with the farmers and it is our first duty to deliver water to the fields. Due to our policies, farmers have increased rapidly towards organic farming.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that investors are also joining due to our 18 new industrial policies. Through RIC and GIS-Bhopal, the state has received investment proposals of Rs 30.77 lakh crore. It symbolizes investors’ increasing faith in Madhya Pradesh. We are making industry cells in every district collectorate of the state, so that any investors will be able to solve difficulty at the district level. We are making business and business smooth in the state. Will take the support of everyone in this.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that we will promote milk production in every possible way in the state. It is our endeavor that more than 20 percent of the country’s milk is produced in Madhya Pradesh, both our farmers and cattlemen will be completed. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that we are also using the energy of youth power. Conservation of people, water, forest, land and biological diversity, following Panchsheel principles, is our primary goal. He said that if the forest survives, the water will be saved and the water will be saved, then the life will be left. We are also making every necessary efforts to preserve biological wealth.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that to make the farmers of the state self -reliant, 30 lakh farmers will be given solar pumps in the next three years. This will make our farmers Annadata as well as energetic. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that our government is going to provide permanent connection of electricity to farmers for just five rupees, due to which our farmers will not have to wander anywhere for electricity connection. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also informed the Finance Commission about the innovations made in Madhya Pradesh in the last one year. He informed that our government has started an air ambulance service. Due to this, many serious patients were saved by airlifting many serious patients in the last one year. Our service has received a very good response.
