488 Home Guard Voluntary Soldier will be posted in Mahakal Temple, approval received in Mohan cabinet

In the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav in Madhya Pradesh, it was approved to approve 488 posts of Home Guard volunteer soldiers at Mahakal temple in Ujjain. It will incur an expenditure of Rs 17 crore annually. This process will be completed within a year.

Other important decisions of Mohan cabinet

It was decided to amend Section 66 of the Municipal and Village Investment Act for the development scheme. Now if a department has to bring the project outside the special area, it will be allowed by the government.

This project will not be less than Rs 500 crore under any circumstances. Along with this, the decision to give Rs 175 per quintal above the support price of wheat and the decision to give four thousand rupees per hectare incentive to the farmers for the paddy acquired in 2024.

The water Ganga enrichment campaign will run from 30 March to 30 June in the state. It will have the work of conservation and promotion of all water structures. Anganwadi workers will be trained to give general knowledge to children.

Decisions for farmers

According to Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, the government has decided to give bonus at the rate of Rs 175 per quintal at the MSP rate of wheat, which starts from March 15. These bonuses will be given the rate of MSP in addition to Rs 2425. That is, farmers will get Rs 2600 per quintal on support price. Not only this, the proposal to give 4 thousand per hectare incentive amount on paddy was also approved.

Determination-vampiration process completely online
It was decided to make a provision of 138.41 crore in the meeting for digitization. In the cabinet, it was also decided to train Anganwadi workers as a master teacher. In this, Anganwadi workers will be taught how to teach general knowledge with practical knowledge to children coming to Anganwadi. Taking another important decision, the government has decided that industries will be established outside the planning area. The government will be able to take the decision to set up the big industry outside the planning area when the proposal comes.

Greetings of CM

Before the start of the meeting, the cabinet members greeted Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav for successful GIS. In the meeting, planning to launch an investment of 30.77 lakh crore on the land was shared. The Chief Minister’s formula was decided that the principal secretary of all departments would review investment proposals every week. The Chief Secretary will review every month and a review meeting will be held every two months under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister. Jai Ganga Water Promotion Campaign will run in the entire state from March 30 for conservation and promotion of water structures. This campaign, which runs till June 30, will also work for water recharge. The cabinet has decided that the government will celebrate the festival of Indian new year i.e. Gudi Padwa with pomp. There will be programs in the entire state at Gudi Padwa, then during the ongoing Vikramotsav in Ujjain, there will be a big event on 30 March.

Establishment of tribal Devalok and preparations for budget session

Another important subject in the meeting will be discussed on the establishment of tribal Devaloka, which will be an important step to promote the cultural and religious importance of the tribal community of the state. Apart from this, the budget presented in the budget session starting from March 10 will also be discussed in detail. The Chief Minister will express his opinion before the cabinet regarding the new announcements and schemes to be made in this session.

Budget of more than Rs 15000 crore

The second supplementary budget was also approved in the meeting. It will be more than Rs 15000 crore. The presentation of the state’s financial situation before the 16th Finance Commission and the amount to be received from the Central Government for 2026 to 2031 will be on March 6. All ministers will be present in this.

Discussion on budget session questions and government’s spot response

In this meeting being held in the ministry, the ministers will be given the responsibility of giving timely answers to the questions raised during the budget session. There will also be a discussion about the government’s spot counter in this session, so that steps will be taken towards making the government’s dialogue skills and functioning more effective.

Approval was also received on supplementary budget

Proposals for second supplementary budget will also be discussed in the meeting. In this budget, focus will be done on other development schemes including road, electricity, infrastructure. Apart from this, a large amount related to the liability of interest can also be included in the supplementary budget. This will be a big step towards the government’s financial position and taking development works smoothly forward.
