New York
The US Congress has questioned USAID’s alleged relations with terrorist-nominated groups and said that terrorist groups were also given millions of dollars during the Biden rule. In fact, a separate ministry has been made by Trump to cut the expenses (Department of Government Efficiency).
Doge had said that it is ending the amount of $ 723 million to the countries of the world under USAID. That is, these countries will not get any such amount now.
Hamas to $ 2 billion
The hearing was held before the committee constituted on DOGE and American federal employees for the help of terrorist groups during the Biden rule. According to the testimony during this time, from October 7, 2023 under the Biden administration, more than $ 2 billion was sent by USAID to help Hamas.
Help Lashkar too
According to reports, USAID also provided financial assistance to an anti-India organization which has been nominated by the US government as a terrorist organization. It provided financial assistance to Falah-e-Insaniyat Foundation (FIF), a masked organization of Lashkar-e-Taiba (Let) located in Pakistan.
Lashkar is the same terrorist organization that carried out the 26/11 Mumbai attack. 166 people were killed and more than 300 injured in this attack. DOGE has already claimed that the USAID continued to support the foundation despite being under the scrutiny.
