Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai attended the ongoing Shivaratri festival in Bageshwar Dham today and the mass wedding ceremony of 251 poor girls. Bageshwar Dham saw a unique confluence of religious devotion, social dedication and national unity.

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that Chhattisgarh is a land of saint tradition and religion. Lord Shri Ram spent most of his exile here. We are proud that there was an opportunity to attend this divine event in Bageshwar Dham. He said that rituals and culture are an important part of any person’s life.

Naxalism free Chhattisgarh resolution

Chief Minister Sai said that the Chhattisgarh government is taking historical steps towards the elimination of Naxalism. In collaboration with the double engine government, it has been resolved that Naxalism will be fully eliminated by 31 March 2026. The security forces of the state are firmly engaged in this campaign, and this mission is successfully moving forward under the leadership of Home Minister Vijay Sharma.

Ban on conversion and homecoming campaign

Chief Minister Sai said that the government is also encouraging conversion prevention and homecoming campaign to maintain the religious and cultural balance of Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Sai recalled the contribution of the late Dilip Singh Judeo ji and said that our government will adopt a strict policy against conversion and connect the society with its original identity.
