Global South – Delegates expressed their views in Regional Cooperation in Trade and Investment Sessions

Madhya Pradesh is one of the progressive states of India. Agriculture, tourism, minerals and pharmaceuticals have immense possibilities of investment. Delegates expressed these views in Sessions Global South-Regional in Trade and Investment Co-operation under Global Investors Summit-2025. Chairman CII Western Region Ms. Swati Salgaonkar said that India is continuously working with global South countries to strengthen economic, trade and cultural relations. Madhya Pradesh is also playing a leading role to increase cultural and business relations with these countries. Shri Dushyant Thakur gave information about the global development pact. Ms. Martin Mayre also expressed his views.

First Secretary of South Africa Mr. Khatutshello E. Thgwana said that this summit held in Bhopal will also prove to be very useful in enriching relations with investment. We will work together and explore various sectors of investment. Rwanda High Commissioner Ms. Jacqueline Mukangira said that this is my first visit to Bhopal. I congratulate Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav for a brilliant event. He said that India is the largest investors in our country. There are many areas in Madhya Pradesh where investment can be made. Minister Counselor of Venezuela Mr. Juan Goldnik said that Madhya Pradesh is a better destination for investment. He said that this summit will prove useful for business and investment. UAE Director of UAE India CEPA Council Mr. Ahmed Mohammad Mubarak Alaznebi said that both countries are working on various aspects of investment.

Madhya Pradesh’s investment policy is useful for investors
First Secretary of Vietnam, Ms. Hong Thien, said that Madhya Pradesh’s investment policy is very useful for investors. I sincerely hope that investors will take full advantage of this. Mr. Ambassador of Mali, Mr. Felix Dialo, the Council General of Thailand, Mumbai Shri Donavit Poolsabat and the trade commissioner of Mexico, Mr. Daniel Delgado also appreciated the investment policy of Madhya Pradesh. He said that surely efforts by Madhya Pradesh will increase investment. There is a possibility of better cooperation in the fields of agriculture, mining and infrastructure. Ms. Yanit Jail, Panama’s Ms. Yanit Jail Garibaldo said that he would discuss the possibilities of investment in various fields. Fiji’s High Commissioner Mr. Jagannath Sami said that I am Grandson (grandson) of India. India and Fiji have very deep cultural and historical relations. Burkinafoso Ambassador Dr. Dzire Bonifase Sama said that the import-export of coconut, gold, agricultural products and manufacturing materials between the two countries has been happening since long. Cooperation in the field of pharmaceutical will be useful for our country. Moroccan ambassador Shri Mohammad Maliki said that phosphorus is produced in our country. It can be used in various industries in Madhya Pradesh. Nepal Ambassador Dr. Shankar Prasad Sharma said that renewable energy, digital connectivity, trade and investment will work together. Zimbabwe’s Financial Minister of Industry and Commerce Mr. Raj Modi and Zimbabwe’s Ambassador Ms. Stella Nakomo have a better platform to explore the possibilities of Global Investors Summit investment. Welcoming the suggestions given by all delegates, ECEO of MPIDC, Mr. Saksha Shah said that this is the right time to invest in Madhya Pradesh. He also resolved the doubts of delegates. Shri Ravikant Tiwari said that the vision of Dr. Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, is clear. He searched the possibilities of investment in every region of the state by doing RIC before GIS. He did road-shows at the national and international level to increase investment.
