To consider these proposals, a high -level committee will be formed, which will analyze these proposals and decide in the appropriate direction. Last month, the government had sought a proposal from large companies on AI models, in response to which companies like Sarvam AI, Corover.ai have submitted their proposals. This entire process is being accelerated, so that work can be started on the AI model as soon as possible.
Ashwini Vaishnav’s statement
Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has given detailed information on this project. He says that India can provide a world-class AI model to the whole world, which will be launched in the next 9-10 months. He also informed that the government can approve many AI models, which will be used on the basis of various requirements and scale. The government is considering two options for funding – direct financial support and equity based funding.
