Madhya Pradesh has made a big achievement in its name. 139 artists have set a world record at the ongoing 51st Khajuraho dance festival in the state. Artists have set a Guinness World Record for the longest classical dance by dancing for more than 24 hours. An official gave this information on Friday. The official said the dance started at 2.34 minutes on Wednesday afternoon, which ended at 2.43 pm on Thursday afternoon.
The classical dance continued without stopping for 24 hours, nine minutes and 26 seconds. The official said that after declaring the presentation a world record, the Guinness team provided a certificate to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. The official said that presentations of Kathak, Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Mohiniyattam and Odissi were given in this program organized by Madhya Pradesh Culture Department.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav congratulated the artists for the world record and said that it is a divine expression of Indian culture.
