Journalist Mukesh Chandrakar murder case, SIT will soon present charge sheet

The investigation into journalist Mukesh Chandrakar murder case in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh is now in its final stages. SIT (Special Investigation Team) is preparing to present the charge sheet in this case soon. According to the police, many important clues have been handed over during the investigation, which is likely to make some more big revelations related to this murder.

It is worth noting that on the night of 1 January 2025, four accused, including contractor Suresh Chandrakar, were brutally murdered journalist Mukesh Chandrakar. After the murder, the body was thrown into a septic tank to hide. When there was no detection of Mukesh till the next day, journalists from Bijapur lodged a report of his disappearance in Kotwali. The police started the investigation showing readiness and recovered the body of Mukesh from the septic tank of the house of the accused contractor on the evening of 2 January. The four accused were arrested and sent on judicial remand within just 24 hours.

In view of the seriousness of the case, a high -level 11 -member SIT was formed, which conducted a thorough investigation into every aspect of the incident. The police had already issued a press release stating that many important clues have been found during the investigation. Now after about two months, SIT has almost completed its investigation and the process of filing the charge sheet has been started. Police say that some more important revelations can also come up with the charge sheet, which will reveal the conspiracy of this heinous murder.
