The Government of Chhattisgarh has taken a historic step to ensure transparency, accountability and effective administration of governance in the state. In the presence of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, the Department of Good Governance and Convergence signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Center for Effective Governance of Indian States (CEGIS) and Transforming Rural India (TRI). This partnership will strengthen administrative efficiency, effective monitoring and implementation of schemes.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that it is our priority to ensure correct and effective use of resources. For this purpose, we have established ‘Good Governance and Convergence Department’ in the state. This 58th department will not only simplify administrative processes but will also help in effective implementation of government schemes. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the MoU today will bring revolutionary changes in administrative transparency, financial discipline and policy-making.
E-governance and digital transformation will be promoted
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that facilities like e-governance, digital transformation, grievance redressal mechanisms and real-time monitoring of schemes will get a new dimension from this initiative. This MoU will not only promote skill development and capacity upgradation of government employees and youth, but the schemes of the government will be made more effective and easy. The benefit of will be obtained without any obstruction.
Niti formation will get new direction with cooperation of CEGIS and TRI
CEGIS founder Mr. Karthik Muralitharan said that we will provide technical, analytical and strategic support for effective implementation of state policies and schemes with the Government of Chhattisgarh. Also, the government will cooperate in strategic budgeting and financial management. He also said that Chhattisgarh will get widespread benefits from global level expertise and data-driving policy.
Rural development will get a new dimension in collaboration with TRI
Under the agreement with TRI for the sustainable development of rural areas, education, health, women empowerment and water conservation will get a new direction. Tri Associate Director Mr. Sris Kalyani said that we will cooperate with the Government of Chhattisgarh to strengthen the local government, increase community participation and speed up rural development. This is an important step towards making extensive improvements in areas such as education, health, agricultural-based livelihood and climate adaptation.
Chief Minister Shri Sai congratulated and congratulated the representatives of the Department of Good Governance and Convergence, CEGIS and TRI for this important agreement. He said that this partnership will open a new path of administrative reforms in Chhattisgarh and the people of the state will get quick and effective benefits of schemes.
On the occasion of this historic agreement, Finance Minister Shri O. P. Chaudhary said that this MoU will play an important role in realizing the concept of good governance in Chhattisgarh.
