This time at Rajim Kumbh Kalp Mela is being held in more grand and attractive form than before. The confluence of faith, devotion and culture of devotees is being seen in this fair. Cultural presentations are being given by famous artists from across the country with the echo of bhajan-kirtan throughout the day at the fair. This time the tableau on the theme of Panchkoshi Yatra remains a center of special attraction for the Melaris, which is presenting a glimpse of faith and culture.

A tableau of Panchkoshi Yatra has been made at the new fair ground in Chaubebandha, which is particularly attracting the Melaris. Devotees are taking virtuous benefits by bowing the head with reverence in front of this tableau. Through this tableau, information is being given about the five Mahadev temples, yatra route and their distance of Panchkoshi Yatra.

Panchkoshi Yatra is taken out a month before the Rajim fair in Chhattisgarh, in which thousands of devotees worship Lord Shiva by doing a padyatra of the major Shiva temples of the area. The yatra begins with the Kuleshwar Mahadev Temple located at Rajim Triveni Sangam and ends there.

Devotees complete this journey while visiting five major Shivalingas. The main stops of the journey are as follows. Gateshwar Mahadev Temple (Patewa), 5 km from Rajim, Lord Shiva is worshiped here as Annabrahma. The Champeshwar Mahadev (Champaran) temple is located 14 km north from Rajim, where Swayambhu Shivling is seated. Brahmaneshwar Mahadev (Bamhni, Mahasamund) 9 km from Champeshwar, Lord Shiva has been engraved here. Phanikeshwar Mahadev (Fingeshwar, Gariaband) is worshiped in a northeast form of Shivling, and Mata Ambika is his Ardhangini. Kopeshwar Mahadev (Kopra, Gariaband) is worshiped here in the form of Lord Shiva Vamdev, and Mata Bhavani is considered a symbol of bliss. At the conclusion of the yatra, devotees visit Kuleshwar Mahadev at Triveni Sangam and earns virtuous benefits.

Devotees travel by chanting ‘Mahadev’ and ‘Ram Siya Ram’ by loading everyday items on their heads. This journey is considered to be helpful in getting rid of spiritual peace, virtuous acquisition and disorders like work, anger, fascination, greed and item. Devotees dedicate Parsa paan, coconut, incense sticks and incense in the court of Shakti Lahiri Mata in Hathkhoj. On the day of Makar Sankranti, devotees take a dry wave in the river. Before this, Shivling is done and worshiped.
