Chief Minister Sai listens to Sri Krishna-Sudama episode in Shrimad Bhagwat Katha

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today attended the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha held at Ashoka Palm Midoj Colony in Dunda, capital Raipur. On this auspicious occasion, he prayed to Lord Krishna and Shriradha Rani for the happiness, prosperity, peace and auspicious life of all the people. The Chief Minister, while bowing to the Vyaspeeth, took blessings from Kathavyas Pandit Shri Krishna Gaur Shastri and listened to the Sri Krishna-Sudama episode.

Chief Minister Shri Sai warmly welcomed the story of Kathavas Pandit Shri Krishna Gaur Shastri in the holy land of Mother Kaushalya in Chhattisgarh. He said that it is a matter of great fortune to listen to the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha. It not only provides spiritual peace, but also inspires us to move forward on the path of religion, love and duty. I hope that all the devotees will imbibe the divine message of this story and adopt it in their lives. Lord Krishna should give strength to all of us that we can serve the people of Chhattisgarh with full dedication and loyalty.

Chhattisgarh – Lord Shri Ram’s exile site, special arrangement for Rambhaktas in Mahakumbh
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that most of the exile period of Lord Shri Ram was spent in Chhattisgarh, and here he is honored as “Bhancha”. He informed that the Government of Chhattisgarh has so far provided good luck to more than 20,000 Rama devotees under the “Sri Ramalala Darshan Yojana” in Ayodhya Dham. Along with this, Chief Minister Shri Sai underlined the importance of Prayagraj Mahakumbh and said that this auspicious coincidence has come after 144 years, and the Chhattisgarh government has made special arrangements for the devotees in Mahakumbh. Free housing, food and other facilities have been provided in this pavilion, so that devotees from Chhattisgarh can perform a convenient bath, darshan and religious rituals.

The Chief Minister congratulated all the organizers for the successful organization of Srimad Bhagwat Katha and said that such spiritual events communicate positive energy and religious consciousness in the society.

On this occasion, the organizers of Srimad Bhagwat Katha, local dignitaries and a large number of devotees were present on the occasion.
