Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that students of Scheduled Castes should not get any kind of inconvenience in the hostel. Ensure better arrangements in all hostels. A positive environment should be created to read children. After taking admission in the hostel, students should only focus more and more on their studies, such time management should be done. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing a review meeting of the Scheduled Caste Welfare Department at Samvat Bhavan (Chief Minister’s residence) on Thursday. In the meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reviewed the current progress of the schemes run by the Scheduled Castes Welfare Department and the status of scheme proposals and allocation prepared for the upcoming financial year 2024-25. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that all welfare schemes should be implemented effectively for the SC, so that the deprived sections of the society can get maximum benefits.
Start the Faculty Faculty at Dr. Ambedkar Social Science University Mhow
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that 25 crore rupees have been sanctioned to start a law faculty at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Social Science University located in Mhow in Maheshwar on 24 January. All preparations should be made in time to start the method faculty. Principal Secretary informed that a grant of Rs 6 crore 40 lakh has been released by the Scheduled Caste Welfare Department to Dr. Ambedkar Social Science University, Mhow (Indore) in the financial year 2024-25. Scheduled Caste Welfare Minister Shri Nagar Singh Chauhan, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Shri Chaitanya Kumar Koshyap, Chief Secretary Mr. Anurag Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Office Dr. Rajesh Rajaura, Principal Secretary Finance Mr. Manish Rastogi, Principal Secretary Scheduled Castes Welfare Dr. E. Ramesh Kumar and departmental officers were present.
Special attention to educational development of students
Principal Secretary Aja Kalyan Dr. Kumar informed that for the educational upliftment of Scheduled Castes students, the operation of hostels, implementation of scholarship schemes, education incentive schemes, grant programs and self -employment schemes are being conducted. Effective implementation of the Prevention of Atrocities Act is also a special priority of the department.
