Shubman Gill hit the seventh ODI century, scored history, Hashim Amla broke a big record

The last match of the three -match ODI series between India and England has been played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on February 12 (Wednesday). In this match, India’s star opener Shubman Gill created history. Gill achieved the feat of scoring the fastest 2500 runs in ODI International. Gill made his ODI debut against New Zealand at Sedon Park in Hamilton on 31 January 2019.

Playing his 50th ODI (50th innings) for India, Shubman Gill touched this magical figure. Gill broke the record of South African veteran Hashim Amla, who crossed 2500 runs in his 51st ODI innings. Gill needed 25 runs to complete 2500 runs in ODIs and achieved this target by hitting a four off the fifth ball of the 10th over of the Indian innings thrown by Gas Atkinson.
