The team of Central GST in Madhya Pradesh’s capital Bhopal (Bhopal) took a major action and seized 310 tons of betel nut. The seized betel nut costs around 12 crore rupees (12 Crore Rupees).
In fact, the branch of Central GST in Bhopal was informed that the betel nut has been stored illegally in a warehouse on Berasia Road. On the basis of this information, the team killed raid at the place mentioned. During this time, the team found that betel nut has been stored in thousands of sacks in the warehouse.
During the investigation, the GST team found that 310 tonnes of betel nuts have been kept in more than 4 thousand sacks in the warehouse, which costs around Rs 12 crore. During the raid, the team came to know that this warehouse, which is worth crores of rupees, is not registered.
Not only this, when documents related to betel nut storage were asked, they were not found. Currently, investigation has been started by sealing the warehouse.
