The police have arrested an accused who fooled people and traffic police in the name of Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) in the district. This accused was roaming around with fake ID card. During the investigation, the police arrested the accused. Fake ID card was confiscated and the accused was sent to jail on judicial remand.
Additional Superintendent of Police Traffic Richa Mishra said that on Monday, the traffic police had a checking point in Nehru Nagar. Traffic police personnel and officers were checking vehicles. During this time, when tried to stop a Figo car (CG 05 AB 7335), the driver started moving forward.
When the police personnel surrounded him, he stopped the car and threatened the policemen. He described himself as an ACB officer and also showed fake ID card to the police personnel. Police personnel sent a photo of the ID card to ASP traffic Richa Mishra. The investigation found that the ID card is fake.
