India has made England a nine-wicket defeat in the second semi-finals of the Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup and made it to the finals. The Indian team will take on South Africa for the title in the final. India allowed England to score 113 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs on the basis of Parunika Sisodia, Vaishnavi Sharma’s brilliant bowling. In response, India won with the best batting of G. Kamalini (56 not out) and G. Trisha (35).

Chasing a target of 114 runs, the opening pair of India’s G. Kamalini and G. Trisha made a good start to shared a 60 -run wicket. However, in the ninth over, Fobe Brett broke the partnership by dismissing G. Trisha. Zee Trishna scored five fours in 29 balls (35) runs.

After this, Sanika Chalke, who came to bat, shared the victorious partnership with Zee Kamalini. Both the batsmen, while taking a brilliant batting, gave their team victory by scoring 117 runs for one wicket in 15 overs. Zee Kamalini scored eight fours in 50 balls (56 not out). Sanika Chalke (11) remained unbeaten on the run.

Earlier, England’s women’s team won the toss and decided to bat first. The opening pair of Jemima Spens and Davina Perin added 37 runs for the first wicket. In the fifth over, Parunika Sisodia bowled Jemima Spens (nine) and gave India the first success. Sisodia bowled Trudei Johnson (zero) on the next ball and sent it to the pavilion.

After this, captain Abi Norgrove, who came to bat, handled the innings with Davina Perin. The two batsmen shared a 44 -run partnership for the third wicket, but in the 12th over, Ayushi Shukla bowled Davina Perin and gave his team the third success.
