In the Mahadev Satta app case, the ED team took a major action and arrested Sandeep Phogla from Kolkata, who was presented in the special court of ED today. While hearing the case, the court has sent the accused to jail on judicial remand for 14 days. Now on 10 February, the accused will be produced in court again.

Mahadev Betting App has been created to conduct online betting. In which users can become part of different sports like cricket, poker and card games. Betting was done through these sports. It is said that in the year 2019, Bhilai resident Saurabh Chandrakar started Mahadev Satta app. Later Saurabh Chandrakar moved to Dubai. Where he called his friends and started working on the app. ED investigation revealed that there was more of the ID of more users of Chhattisgarh on the app. Cricket, from election results to different cases were speculated. Saurabh Chandrakar and Ravi Uppal had given the responsibility to Anil Dammani and Sunil to operate Mahadev Satta app. The names of police, bureaucrats, leaders and celebrities were added to the case. Other methods including social media were adopted to promote the speculative app. There were 30 call centers of Mahadev Betting App in many different states of the country. Who used to lure people to earn a large amount through betting. On filing, users were connected to a private group of WhatsApp. After this, some websites were spoken to make their ID. Two phone numbers were given to users. Through the first number, users used to submit points with money in ID. At the same time, the second number was used to capitalize on the point of users ID and contact the website. Later, users used to transfer money to the account without name. Users used to remove the winning amount from the same account.
