The application submitted by Saurabh Sharma, former constable of Madhya Pradesh Transport Department surrounded by allegations of black money, will be heard in the special court of Bhopal on Tuesday. For this, Saurabh was presented in court along with his lawyer on Monday.
Meanwhile, the lawyer has claimed that Saurabh Sharma has been arrested. However, the investigating agencies have not confirmed this.
Earlier on Monday, the court summoned the diary from the Lokayukta on the petition of Saurabh Sharma. The court will hear the matter after hearing the arguments of Lokayukta and other investigating agencies on Tuesday.
Arrested while coming to court
Saurabh’s lawyer Rakesh Parashar said that Saurabh Sharma was detained while coming to court. Will apply for illegal arrest in court.
Dhankuber Saurabh Sharma with 52 kg gold was absconding since the raid of Lokayukta. However, on January 27, suddenly reaching Bhopal and applied to the special court for surrender, after which the court asked to appear today.
In Bhopal, three investigative agencies ED, Lokayukta and Income Tax Department raided several locations of former RTO constable Saurabh Sharma. During the raid, assets of more than 93 crores were found from these locations of Saurabh, including 52 kg of gold and 11 crore cash.
Saurabh’s lawyer Rakesh Parashar said that Saurabh was scheduled to appear at 11 am today. But the Lokayukta police arrested him. While Saurabh had applied for surrender by appearing in the court on Monday. ADJ Ramprasad Mishra ordered the Lokayukta to appear with the case diary.
According to court sources, Saurabh Sharma reached the court of ADJ RP Mishra to surrender around 12:30 pm on Monday afternoon. Here Saurabh’s lawyer applied for surrender. The lawyer told the court that he had received information that Saurabh is absconding in a case of disproportionate assets of Lokayukta. Case is under -investment.
The lawyer told the court that all the documents related to the case are with the Lokayukta team. The court then made a diary call with the report. The court called Vivek Gaur, Special Public Prosecutor of Lokayukta Sangathan. After talking to him, it has been ordered to appear in court along with the diary on Tuesday morning.
Along with this, Saurabh’s lawyer has also been instructed to appear in the court again regarding the hearing of the case on Tuesday morning. After this, Saurabh left the court room at around 1:20 pm. The team of Lokayukta police also reached the court.
Efforts to arrest Saurabh intensified
At the same time, investigating agencies have also gathered in the attempt to arrest Saurabh. Let us know that on 19 December 2024, the Lokayukta team raided Saurabh’s house and also recovered the car of Chetan Gaur near him.
Paper of benami property including Rs 11 crore and 52 kg of gold was recovered by the Income Tax Department team from the car. Saurabh was absconding with his wife Divya Tiwari for 40 days.
The politics of Madhya Pradesh has also been hot in this matter. Congress leaders have accused BJP leaders of giving protection to Saurabh. If Saurabh is questioned, many secrets can come up.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided the locations of Saurabh Sharma and his associates Chetan Singh Gaur, Sharad Jaiswal, Rohit Tiwari on 27 December. A bank balance of Rs 4 crore was found in the accounts of Saurabh’s family and friends. Apart from this, ED was also taken by ED under investigation.
In the investigation conducted in Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior, the information of FD of Rs 6 crore has also been received by the ED. Investments made through firms and companies have been revealed.
The Lokayukta team raided the house and office of former RTO constable Saurabh Sharma’s house and office in Bhopal’s Arera Colony on December 19. The team received documents of Rs 2.95 crore cash, gold and silver jewelery worth about Rs 50 lakh and 234 kg silver from these locations.
On the same day, after midnight, 52 kg of gold and Rs 11 crore cash was received from an abandoned car in the forest in Mendori area of Bhopal. This car is named after Saurabh Sharma’s associate Chetan Singh Gaur. Chetan had told the investigating agency that gold and cash belonged to Saurabh Sharma.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) then raided Saurabh and his family and acquaintance. During this period, the investigating agency got assets of 23 crore including cash. Saurabh was absconding since the raid of Lokayukta. At the time of the raid, information about her being in Dubai was revealed. The investigating agencies were constantly raiding in search of him.
