The Indigo aircraft was to fly at 10:10 am, but just a few moments before that a passenger in the aircraft opened the emergency exit gate.
There was a stir among the passengers
As soon as the emergency exit door of the aircraft opened. The pilot got information about this. This action of the passenger stirred the aircraft. Pilots and cabin crew started the standard operating protocol after the incident. The passenger was then arrested and handed over to the CISF.
Why did the passenger open an emergency door
According to the media, the passenger on the aircraft who opened the door of emergency exit has been identified as Siraj Kidwai. He works in Axis Bank. The passenger claimed that he accidentally opened the flap. As soon as its signal opened by the emergency of the aircraft went to the pilot. The security officials then removed the passenger from the plane.
Airline company’s statement came out
Airline company IndiGo has issued its statement on this incident. IndiGo said today, during the security briefing before the departure of flight 6E 6033 from Jodhpur to Bangalore, a passenger opened the emergency exit flap. The crew immediately followed the standard operating procedures. The passenger was later removed and the law was handed over to the enforcement officers for investigation.
Other passengers upset
The airline said that we are sorry for the inconvenience to other passengers aboard the aircraft and we confirm our commitment to maintain the highest standards of security in all our operations. The passenger is being questioned by CISF personnel at the Airport Police Station in Jodhpur. The incident caused a 20 -minute delay in flying the aircraft, causing a stir in the aircraft.
