There will be a royal bath in Mahakumbh on Mauni Amavasya. During this time the Railways decided to cancel long distance trains. This is done to empty the track for special trains going to Prayagraj. There are names of 29 canceled trains in the new list. 58 trains have been canceled by the railway. This is bad news for the passengers doing this reservation, but the number of special trains going to Prayagraj has increased. It is good news for the devotees to go to Mahakumbh and take a Sangam bath.
Prayagraj Junction falls on the Delhi Howrah route. Most of the trains have been affected by this route. It is feared by the railway that more trains may be canceled.

GM-DRM right to run maximum train
Minister of State for Railways V Somanna said in a press conference that devotees want amazing to be a part of Mahakumbh. In such a situation, it is necessary for them to run a special train, so that the passengers do not feel any kind of problem. GM and DRM have full right to run maximum train for devotees.
I inspected the preparations for Mauni Amavasya by visiting Prayagraj Junction. Watched live footage of mini hospitals, passenger shelter, control tower, railway stations located in the city side. Arrangements are quite good here. Instructions have been given to fix a few shortcomings.
