Two families came face to face in a dispute near Timri village on Patan Road, about 15 km from Jabalpur district headquarters. The controversy was so big that a family killed four people from another family. In this incident, four boys named Kundan, Chandan, Aniket and Sameer Dubey lost their lives.
Kundan and Chandan’s father Ganesh Pathak told that, “Two months ago some people of Sahu family were gambling on their farm. Alcohol used to be here too. The police was also informed about both these incidents. The boys of Sahu family were angry with this. On Monday morning, a young man named Kalu Sahu started a dispute. He was abusing him after drinking alcohol. People of his family tried to stop Kalu Sahu.
Akhilesh Dubey, the family of the deceased family, said, “About 12 boys of the Sahu family broke down with weapons and these people killed Aniket, Kundan, Chandan and Sameer Dubey. At the same time, two people have been injured from it. Those who have been admitted to private hospitals. Gambling liquor is considered to be the main reason behind this development. However, the rivalry of both these families was old. But the people of the victim’s family in this case say that if the police had already stopped gambling by taking action on their complaint, then this incident would not have happened.
Police bids will not be accused
Suryakant Sharma, Additional SP of Jabalpur Rural, who reached the spot, said, “Four people have been killed in this incident. The police is investigating how the incidents started. All the accused will be arrested and it will also be investigated that if there was any complaint of gambling, then why did they not take action. Police say no accused will be released. “
