The International Cricket Council (ICC) is announcing the award of 2024. In this episode, Smriti Mandhana has also received a big award. Smriti overtook Chamari Atapattu (Sri Lanka), Laura Volvord and Annabel Sutherland (Australia).
2024 was spectacular for memory
Smriti Mandhana scored 747 runs in 13 innings of 13 ODIs in 2024, which is her best performance in a calendar year. This left -handed batsman was the most female player to score the most runs in ODIs in 2024. He is followed by Laura Volvart (697 runs), Tammy Buomont (554 runs) and Haley Mathews (469 runs).
If seen, Smriti Mandhana is only the second player to win the ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year Award twice. Smriti has equaled former New Zealand captain Suzy Bates in this matter. Smriti, 28, won this award earlier in the year 2018.
