Dhaka
The situation in Bangladesh is worsening every day. After Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina stepped down, Nobel laureate Mohammad Yunus took over the leadership of the interim government. He promised to bring reforms and establish stability in the country. However, under his leadership there has been no reduction in atrocities against minorities, especially Hindus, in the country. Now in such a situation, demands for resignation have started rising within the country.
came to the point of resigning
Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) General Secretary Fakhrul Islam directly accused the government headed by Mohammad Yunus of not working impartially and due to this instability has increased in the country. He said that it is expected from the government to take the country in the right direction, but the government’s attitude on some important issues has been biased. Fakhrul Islam also pointed out that if the interim government could not remain impartial, there would be a need for a neutral government at the time of elections.
Demand for elections in Bangladesh
BNP General Secretary Fakhrul Islam has demanded elections in Bangladesh. He said that only the government formed through elections can fulfill the promises made to the people of the country and take the country towards stability. Fakhrul Islam also said that if the elections are delayed, other forces can take advantage of this situation, which can worsen the situation in the country.
Due to questions being raised on Yunus’s leadership within Bangladesh, a situation of confusion has arisen regarding his policies and the future of the government. At the same time, Mohammad Yunus seemed to be moving towards conflict with India, but now he is facing criticism for his policies in his own country.
