Vietnam’s largest car company Vinfast has made a tremendous entry in the Indian market and in the coming time, it is going to present a big challenge to companies like Tata Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra to Hyundai Motor and JSW MG Motor India. Vinfast has shown its intention to make its mark in the Indian electric vehicle market by unveiling its two all-electric SUVs VF 7 and VF 6 at the currently ongoing Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.
Sales will start after June
Let us tell you that these products of Vinfast have just been unveiled and the sale of these vehicles will start from the second half of this year. VinFast is committed to bringing high quality modern electric vehicles to the Indian market. The VF7 and VF6 are the first VinFast models to be launched in India. The special thing is that the right-hand drive version of both these cars is being launched in India for the first time.
Dealership will expand across the country
Vinfast has also set up a manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu, which will produce electric vehicles in India. Ashwin Ashok Patil, Deputy CEO, Sales and Marketing, VinFast India, says that sales of VF 7 and VF 6 will start in the second half of 2025. The company is setting up dealership networks in all major cities of the country. Customers will get the option to buy the car both online and offline. India is a big market for Vinfast.

Complete range to showcase at Auto Expo 2025
Amidst all this, let us tell you that Vinfast has showcased its entire range at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. These include the VF 3, VFe34, VF8, VF9 SUVs as well as the Evo 200, Clara, Feliz, Vento, Theon electric scooter, Dragonfly electric bike and the VF Wild pickup truck concept. But the biggest attractions were VF7 and VF6, as they have been specially designed for the Indian market.
